Why has my progress has stopped saving?

First, make sure you aren't running any mods. Any in-game mods, including costumes, will disable any progress on your save data.

Second, disable your firewall and anti-virus protection while you are running the game. There are some known conflicts with some of these programs that will prevent your save data from being stored.
